How we handle your information

Who we are
Kalendra is a booking board for salons and appointment shops, made by Meridian Global Ventures ("MGV," "we," "us"). This policy covers the Kalendra marketing site at mykalendra.com, including its Tiếng Việt (/vi/) and 简体中文 (/zh/) pages. It does not cover the Kalendra app itself (app.kalendra.mgvhq.com), where salons and their staff sign in; the app will carry its own notices as the product grows.

What we collect, exactly
This site collects personal information in two places, and only two.
1. The get-in-touch form. If you ask us for your salon's demo, the form asks for:
- your salon's name
- your name
- your phone number: this is how we reply for most of the salon owners we serve
- your email address (optional)
- a short note (optional)
The form also records, invisibly, which language version of the page you wrote from (English, Tiếng Việt, or 简体中文), so we can reply in your language.
2. The live demo booking page. This site embeds the real booking page for Maple Row Salon, an example shop we own and run for demonstration. Make a test booking there if you like. Whatever you type into a test booking (a name, the appointment you pick) lands on the example board, which we operate. It is an example board, not a real business: use it to try the product, and please keep anything private out of it. Test bookings are cleared every night, when the example board resets.
That is all. The site has no account signup, sells nothing, and never asks for payment details. You can read every page without giving us anything.
Like almost every website, the servers that deliver this site (see "Who processes this data" below) keep standard technical logs, which include the internet (IP) address your request came from. We use those logs only to keep the site secure and working.
What we use it for
- To set up the branded demo you asked for, and to get back to you about it, in your language.
- To run the live example board so visitors can try the product.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Nothing else. We do not build marketing lists from the form, and we do not send marketing messages to the number or email you give us. If we ever want to send you anything beyond replying to your request, we will ask you first.
Calling and texting you back
You give us your phone number so we can reply about the demo you asked for. By submitting the form with your number, you agree that we may call or text you back at that number about your request. These are ordinary person-to-person replies about the thing you asked for, not automated marketing texts, and we never enroll you in any recurring message program. Your carrier's ordinary message and data rates may apply, as with any text you receive. If you would rather we not text, say so in the note or when we reach you, and we won't.
No cookies, no analytics, no ad tech, no selling
As of the effective date above:
- This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. We never have.
- No third parties collect information about your online activity over time and across other websites through this site.
- Because there is no tracking here, the site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals: there is no tracking to turn off. California law asks us to say how we handle those signals, and that is the honest answer.
The embedded demo booking page is served by our own Kalendra app, and we checked its behavior directly: neither the page nor the booking requests behind it set any cookies on your browser. The only cookies anywhere in Kalendra belong to staff sign-in, and the booking page never enters that flow.
Who processes this data
The site is hosted on Netlify, and the get-in-touch form is delivered by Netlify Forms. That means Netlify's systems receive and store form submissions on our behalf and keep standard server logs (including IP addresses) as part of hosting the site. Netlify works as our service provider under its own privacy terms (netlify.com/privacy). We use no other processor for this site.
Test bookings on the example board are processed by the Kalendra app, which we operate ourselves.
We share personal information from this site with no one else, with the ordinary narrow exceptions: if the law requires it, or to protect against fraud or abuse of the site.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions: long enough to reply and set up your demo, then as a routine record of the inquiry, no longer than 12 months after our last contact about it. If you become a Kalendra customer, your information moves into the ordinary customer relationship instead.
- Test bookings on the example board: until the nightly reset.
- Server logs: kept by Netlify on its standard rolling schedule for hosting logs.
Your choices: see it, change it, delete it
Write to us, through the form or at privacy@mgvhq.com, in any of this site's three languages, and ask:
- to see what personal information we hold from your form submission,
- to correct it, or
- to delete it.
We will honor these requests, and we aim to answer within 45 days. We match your request against the contact details you submitted, so we know it is really you. No account, no fee, ever. And we do not treat anyone differently for making a privacy request: nothing on this site is conditioned on your data in the first place.
We extend these choices to everyone who uses the site, voluntarily. California's consumer privacy law (the CCPA/CPRA) sets thresholds for which businesses it covers, and MGV is currently well below all of them. We offer the core rights anyway, because it is the right way to treat the salon owners we want to serve. If MGV ever crosses those thresholds, we will update this policy to reflect the full statutory rights and mechanisms.
Children
This site is for salon owners and their teams. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted the form, tell us and we will delete it.
What this site never touches
Worth saying plainly, because our product serves salon workers: this marketing site never handles staff sign-in credentials. Staff sign-in is a link out to the Kalendra app. When an owner invites a worker, she sends the invite herself, from her own phone; Kalendra runs no automated texting system for invites, and this website is not part of that flow at all.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters (for example, if the site ever adds privacy-respecting analytics), we will post the updated version here, with a new effective date, before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top always tells you when the current version began, and material changes will be called out plainly at the top of the updated policy.
